Annual parking permits for 2024-25 will be available at My Parking Account beginning June 12, 2024.

With nearly 13,000 students at Duke, we are continually making strides to provide the best and easiest ways to park on campus. While we can't guarantee every student a parking space, we provide parking to students based on where they live or study. Parking permit fees are charged to your Bursar account.  This is an annual permit.

Undergraduates

Use the links provided to learn more about parking for undergraduate students living on campus.

  • If you live on East Campus (most first-year students), you are eligible to park in the Smith Warehouse South lot.
  • If you live on West Campus or off campus (most other undergraduates), you are eligible to park in the Blue Zone.
  • If you live on Swift Avenue, you are eligible to purchase an "S" permit.
  • If you live at Blue Light Living, please contact building management at info@bluelightliving.com for 2024-25 parking information. Duke Parking and Transportation is working directly with the Blue Light Management Team to issue "BLL" permits valid at Blue Light Living 24/7 and includes after-hours access on campus. Blue Light Living permits are not available online, and campus permits do not provide access to Blue Light.

Graduate and Professional Students

Graduate and professional student parking options vary. Many commute from off campus.
