Welcome to Duke Parking & Transportation
Duke Parking & Transportation Services provides parking facilities, buses and shuttles, and various means of alternative transportation throughout the University and Health System.
Advisories
The H1, H2 and PR1 transit buses will not operate on Friday, July 3, in observance of July 4th holiday.
The only transit routes in service will be CSF-1 (East-Swift-West), which will run on a holiday schedule from 8:30am to 5:55pm, Lancaster Commons Shuttle running from 8:50am to 5:55pm, and LaSalle Loop operating from 8:36am to 5:50pm.
Van Services will not operate on Friday, July 3 or Saturday, July 4 and will resume on Monday, July 6.
Regular transit schedules will resume on Saturday, July 4.
University garages, including Parking Garage 1 (Trent Drive), Parking Garage 2 (Erwin Road), Parking Garage 3 (Fulton Street), Parking Garage 4 (Science Drive), Research Drive Garage (Research Drive), Hock Garage (Erwin Road) and Science Drive Garage (Science Drive) will be available from 12:01am until midnight, June 19, for Duke staff and students who own a valid Duke parking permit. Use your permit to enter and exit facilities and avoid patient and visitor areas.
The ungated Chemistry Lot will close from Monday, July 6th through to Friday, July 24th to facilitate the road work project along Towerview Road. The gated Chemistry Lot will not be impacted and will remain available to permit holders.
Parking and Transportation Services offers single-day parking permits for faculty, staff and students. Permits are now available through Duke Blue Spot to purchase. Read this Duke Today article for more information.
