Welcome to Duke Parking & Transportation
Duke Parking & Transportation Services provides parking facilities, buses and shuttles, and various means of alternative transportation throughout the University and Health System.
Advisories
Please Read carefully:
- Plan to arrive at the airport two and a half hours before your scheduled departure time. Keep this in mind when scheduling your shuttle time.
- The travel time is estimated to take 30 minutes from departure from the West Campus to arrival at RDU.
- Be prepared to show your digital Duke student ID to the bus driver.
- Baggage allowance is limited to one piece of luggage.
- You should arrive at the shuttle departure point at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
- The shuttle departs the East Campus first, before heading to the West Campus.
- The shuttle will stop at both RDU terminals 1 and 2.
- Registration closes on Wednesday October 7th at 9:00pm. Any remaining spots will be given to walk-up students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Please only sign up for one position. If your plans change, cancel your booking on DukeGroups so that someone else can book the space.
- DSG and Duke Parking & Transportation will be monitoring the shuttles. Registrants will be notified of any schedule changes.

Please be advised that road work near the PG4 facility employee entrance will begin the evening of October 6 through October 8, 2026. The road will NOT be closed, and PG4 permit holders will continue to have access to the facility. Flaggers will be in place to maintain one open lane of traffic at all times and assist with access to the lower levels. An asphalt wedge will also be installed around the work area as needed.

Sewer system work at the Reuben-Cooke building is scheduled from Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16. During this time, approximately six parking spaces in the Allen Upper Lot will be blocked for work crews. Please avoid parking in these designated areas.
Traffic access will remain open, though there may be brief delays.
