A car-free commute at Duke is easier than ever with GoPass, which allows all students and eligible faculty and staff to take unlimited rides on GoDurham, GoTriangle, and GoRaleigh.

From 5:00pm - 6:45am, when/where Duke Transit is not in service, Duke Vans provides free, on-demand transportation for students and employees. Rides are available to and from most Duke facilities that are open during these hours.

Through a pilot program with Uber, Duke University will cover the transportation costs of certain Uber rides that Duke students and employees take to and from certain designated locations.

Accessible Transportation

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, our buses and vans are ADA accessible. All Duke Transit vehicles are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs; most full-size buses also kneel, if needed.

Students with permanent or temporary physical disabilities may apply for Duke Vans' daytime paratransit services. Due to limited resources, rides may not always be available.
