Email notifications are sent multiple times to Blue Zone permit owners during the week of home football games.  

Parking Alternatives

Special parking arrangements for the Clemson, Wake Forest and Pittsburgh games will be announced prior to each game.

Duke vs Clemson parking arrangements:  Because the Clemson game falls on a weeknight and a holiday, rules for Blue Zone parking will be different.  The Blue Zone must be clear of vehicles by 10 a.m. Monday, September 4.  You may move your vehicle to parking lots on East Campus, the Smith Warehouse and 705 Broad Street beginning at 5pm Friday, Sept. 1Your Blue Zone hangtag permit will operate the gates in these locations.  Please return your vehicle to the Blue Zone by 12pm on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Saturday games:  You may park your vehicle at the H lot and East Campus beginning at noon on Friday afternoons before games.  Enter these lots from Anderson St. or Yearby Ave.  Your Blue Zone permit will raise the entrance and exit gates at thee lot.  You must move your car out of the H lot before 6:00 a.m. Monday.  

Unavailable Lots 

Most West Campus parking lots are reserved for football parking.  Parking in reserved lots may result in ticketing and towing.

Sanctions

Vehicles must be removed from the Blue Zone and all Iron Duke lots by 6 a.m. on weekend football game days and other posted times for weeknight games. In accordance with the Duke event policy, vehicles not removed from, or returned to, the Blue Zone and Iron Duke lots within the required timelines, and vehicles parked in restricted areas will be fined minimum of $260; $110 for the fine and $150 for towing. Subsequent violations during the academic year may result in suspension of parking privileges for one calendar year. For information about towed vehicles, call 919-684-7275.
