Men's Basketball Parking

NOTE:  Duke requires all guests to wear a mask as well as present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours of a men's or women's basketball game.  Detailed information regarding safety protocols is available on the Duke Athletics website. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

New for 2021-22General public parking passes are available on-line for $10 for patrons who wish to buy them in advance.  Visit https://my.parking.duke.edu, choose the game you will be attending, pay with a credit card on our secure site, and store the pass on your phone or print it.

The following information provides guidelines for parking on West Campus during Blue Devils men's basketball games.

Employees and students already parked in their permitted lots may keep their cars in those lots after 4:00 p.m. for weeknight games. For weekend games, patrons should park in general public parking if they have a permit for Public Policy, Whitford, Card Gym, Student Wellness lot, Grounds or Chemistry lots.

Students with valid Blue (BLU) permits may remain in the Blue Zone, except for Blue Zone lot #5, which is reserved for patrons with disabilities.  Blue Zone permit holders should enter and exit the Blue Zone on Wannamaker Drive from Duke University Road beginning two hours before game time.

Duke University faculty, staff and students whose vehicles display a valid annual Duke parking permit, excluding complimentary permits such as Night (NGT), may park in General Public lots without charge.

Checkpoints for Iron Duke parking passes are in place two hours prior to tip-off until 45 minutes after games conclude at the following locations:

  • Intersection of Science Drive and NC 751/Cameron Blvd
  • Intersection of Circuit Drive and Towerview Road
  • Intersection of Towerview Road and Duke University Road
  • Intersection of Towerview Road and Science Drive

All faculty, staff and students without a valid Men's Basketball Iron Duke Pass will be directed to General Public Lots during the times the checkpoints are operational.

The QR code operates the automatic parking gates at the Circuit lots and is required for the Jogging Trail lot. Present the pass to the attendant or place the code under the red light on the equipment column to raise the gate.  If you have issues at the gate, press the “I” button for assistance.  Purchases are not refundable.

Iron Duke members at qualifying levels are pre-assigned to parking lots based on priority and availability. Iron Duke parking passes are mailed separately from season tickets. See the chart below listing Iron Duke lot locations and opening times.

Accessible parking is provided in Blue Zone Lot #5 and #7. The fee for patrons is $10 and a state handicapped plate or placard must be present. You may purchase parking in advance of the game by visiting https://my.parking.duke.edu, selecting the “Do you need ADA parking” button and following the prompts to the secure credit card site.  You may store the pass on your phone or print it if desired.

Illegal Parking on Landscaped Areas: Illegally parked vehicles cause a safety hazard for all Duke fans, inhibit inbound and outbound traffic flow, and damage the landscaping. Duke University Police Department strictly enforces illegal parking on landscaped areas in the Blue Zone, along Towerview Road, Science Drive, Circuit Drive and Hwy 751 between the intersections of Duke University Road and Science Drive. Vehicles parked in these areas will be ticketed and towed.

Rideshare/Taxi Services Access:  Rideshare and taxi services have a designated drop-off/pick-up location at the lot on Union Drive across from the Student Wellness Center at 305 Towerview Rd., Durham, NC  27708.  Services attempting to drop-off/pick-up at other locations near the stadium will be denied access and directed to this location.
