Duke's parking facilities and permits are grouped into rate categories that correspond to the level of demand for the facility and proximity to campus locations. The table below reflects the various permit classes and rates for 2024-2025 (August 16, 2024 - August 15, 2025).

In addition to the facility-based permits below, we offer the following annual permits:

Emeritus (EME; for retired faculty only)
External Service (EXS) - $738/year
Duke University Service (DUS) - $738/year
Universal Access (UA) Excludes Allen lot - $2,070/year
Delivery Permit (D) - $110/year
Non-Conventional Motorized Vehicle (MV) - $50/year

Motorists must obey all parking regulations, posted signs, and directions or instructions from Parking and Transportation Services personnel. The maximum speed limit is five (5) miles per hour in garages and parking lots. Pedestrians have the right-of-way at all times.

Note that Duke's smoking policy applies to all parking garages.
