The GoPass program, an effort to alleviate parking demands around the Duke's main campus in Durham, NC is sponsored by Duke Parking and Transportation Services. The GoPass is valid for use by the Duke community in Durham, including the University, Health System and Downtown, at Duke Regional Hospital, at Duke Raleigh Hospital, and for staff at Duke-affiliated clinics throughout the Triangle area.

Participant Criteria and Responsibilities

  • Participants are issued one GoPass code. Participants are not allowed to give, lend or sell the GoPass.
  • We will not reimburse GoPass participants for past or future out-of-pocket expenses incurred due to schedule or service issues with riding the bus. 
  • Duke Parking and Transportation Services offers a wide variety of occasional parking permits.  Read more about them at this page:  https://bit.ly/dukeoccasionalparking
  • Possession of a GoPass does not qualify you for any other alternative transportation incentives offered by Duke Parking and Transportation Services.
  • New GoPass codes will be issued twice a year.  Duke Parking and Transportation Services will notify users via email regarding code changes.

COMPLIANCE REVIEW

  • In conjunction with GoTriangle, we will conduct periodic reviews of usage for each GoPass to determine compliance. If non-compliant use is discovered, your GoPass will be immediately deactivated.
  • If you violate the criteria and responsibilities stated above, we will revoke the GoPass code and you will no longer be eligible. Violations include, but are not limited to, lending, giving or selling your GoPass, or any other action determined to be fraudulent by a Duke official.
