Fine Schedule

After tickets are given, a person has 15 days to pay the fine. For information on how to do so, visit our ticket paying page.

Fees do not escalate or increase if paid late, but if a ticket is not paid in that time frame, the amount will be charged to a student’s bursar account or be deducted from the next paycheck of an employee.

Visitor parking permits are required on all vehicles parked on campus by individuals not affiliated with the university. Faculty, staff, and students of any type, as associated with Duke University and Health System, are not considered visitors. Individuals who use the resources of Duke University on a regular basis (more than twice weekly) are not considered visitors. Parking and Transportation Services will sell daily visitor permits to departments for distribution to their guests. Official visitors may use any of the designated Visitor pay lots or meters.
