Notifications
Permit holders must move all vehicles from the Blue Zone prior to large events in Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium, primarily football games. Signs are posted at the Blue Zone and reminder emails are sent the week of each event.

Parking Alternatives
You may park your vehicle at the Smith Warehouse South lot, on Maxwell Avenue or Parking Garage 1 (PG1), at the intersection of Flowers Drive and Yearby beginning at 3:00 p.m on Friday afternoons before games. Your Blue Zone permit will raise the entrance and exit gates at PG1 on Trent Drive, near the entrance to the Duke Clinics, and at the Smith Warehouse lot.  Please do not pull a ticket at PG1, and park your vehicle on the roof of the garage if possible.  You must move your car out of PG1 and the Smith lot before 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

*Special Parking Information for the Duke-Miami game on Friday, September 29
Similar to other home football games, you should move your vehicle to an alternate location. Due to the high volume of traffic expected on campus by late afternoon, make every effort to move your vehicle from the Blue Zone to the Chemistry, Circuit or Smith Warehouse lots by 5:30 p.m.

Note that there will be no re-entry to West Campus after 4:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29.  If you return to West Campus after 4:00 p.m., you will be directed to the general public parking areas at the Chemistry and Circuit lots.

Return your vehicle to the Blue Zone as early as possible on the morning of Sept. 30.

Transit Services
The CCX transit route passes Anderson/Yearby for convenient access on Saturdays and Sundays. As always, keep Van Services (919-684-2020) in mind if you require transportation back to your residence hall.

Unavailable Lots
Vehicles may not be moved to other West Campus locations including Card Gym, Edens Dr., Allen, Public Policy, Science Drive Garage, Bryan Center Garage and Bryan Center lot, Science Drive Visitor Lot, Gross Lot, Physics, Circuit, Duke University lots 1 & 2, and 614 Chapel Drive or 615 Chapel Drive, as these lots are designated for football and special event parking.

Sanctions
Vehicles must be removed from the Blue Zone by 6 a.m. on football game days.  In accordance with the Duke event policy, vehicles not removed from, or returned to, the Blue Zone within the required timelines, and vehicles parked in restricted areas will be fined $220; $100 for the fine and $120 for towing.  Subsequent violations during the academic year may result in suspension of parking privileges for one calendar year.  In order to retrieve a towed vehicle, visit Duke Police at 502 Oregon St. at night and on weekends, and Parking Services at 302 Science Drive, ground level of the garage, on weekdays.
