Parking and transit advisory: Changes for MLK Day

January 10, 2011Due to a university holiday celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 17, Parking and Transportation Services will make adjustments to bus schedules and availability of parking garages.

Most bus routes will be temporarily halted during the holiday, with the exception of adjusted schedules for the C-1, C-2 and Robertson routes:
  • C-1 route will run from 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • C-2 route will run from 7:15 a.m. to 2:10 a.m.
  • C-2 abbreviated route will run from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Robertson bus route will run from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the last stop at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. During the holiday, only one bus will run the Robertson route, which the last stop at Duke at 10:30 p.m.
In addition to changes in bus schedules, Parking and Transportation will open all parking garages to students, faculty, staff and visitors. Parking garages and transit schedules will return to normal on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
