City & Regional Transit
Local and regional bus transportation is provided off-campus by the Durham Area Transit Authority and Triangle Transit. Regional transit can get you to many popular destinations throughout the Triangle.
GoDurham services a variety of routes in Durham, including the Bull City Connector, a fare-free service that connects downtown, Duke and the medical facilities, as well as other lines from Duke's campuses and hospitals. Click here for a map showing all GoDurham bus routes.
GoDurham bus fares are inexpensive, and unlimited ride day passes are available. GoDurham operates from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. every Monday through Saturday and 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sundays and holidays (GoDurham does not operate on Christmas).
GoTriangle buses service a number of Durham routes, with connections to Raleigh, Cary, Chapel Hill, and other Triangle areas, including RDU Airport. Click here for a map showing all Triangle Transit bus routes. Day passes and ride cards are available from the GoTriangle online store.
